At our art academy, Axárquica Espacio Creativo, we offer professional artistic training and art classes to introduce you to the world of creativity.
Art techniques groups
In September 2026, we’ll be launching our art training programme with monthly groups of art classes. A weekly session dedicated to creative and craft-based practice that will allow you to develop your skills and learn the techniques that interest you most at our art school.

Pen in hand, you’ll discover all kinds of scripts (Gothic, Chancery, English calligraphy…) and learn how to write them
Mondays from 18:30 to 20:00 or Tuesdays from 10:00 to 11:30
No previous experience is required: in our art classes, you’ll receive professional guidance and be able to learn step by step through hands-on practice.
What can you expect from our art classes?
Our art classes are a space to learn, enjoy yourself and get to know art and creative techniques. A weekly session lasting an hour and a half, during which you’ll learn and improve your artistic practice with professional guidance in a friendly atmosphere at our art academy.

Printmaking techniques
A weekly workshop where you can learn all kinds of intaglio and linocut techniques. You’ll learn how to use tools such as gouges and engraving points, and gain an understanding of the inking process and traditional printmaking.
Drawing and mixed media
A space where you can learn drawing, dry, wet and mixed media techniques… We’ll work at your own pace, tailored to your needs and goals, and you’ll be able to see your progress month by month as you practise and hone your eye and your expressive skills.
Calligraphy with nibs
Pen in hand, you’ll discover all kinds of scripts: from Gothic to Italic and Chancery. Learn to distinguish between different typefaces and create them using traditional tools in a space designed to help you relax whilst you learn.
A learning experience tailored to you
Our artistic education is designed for all levels. It doesn’t matter whether you’re starting from scratch or already have some experience: we work in small groups and offer personalised support, so you can progress at your own pace and make the most of your time in the workshop.

- Professional facilities: we have two printing presses, two presses, a drying rack and everything you need to practise various printmaking and graphic art techniques.
- Accessible space: our art school has an access ramp and spacious, adapted work areas.

Each group (engraving, drawing and calligraphy) includes a range of materials provided by the workshop, but you’ll need to bring your own consumables. Don’t worry! At the workshop, we’ll recommend the materials best suited to your needs and projects.
Of course! Here you’ll learn step by step, at your own pace, with a professional who’ll guide you and tailor your learning process to you. It’s never too late to start enjoying art – go for it!
We have one class a week, lasting an hour and a half. Perfect for switching off from the daily grind and establishing a pleasant routine of creative work.
Our creative experiences are a leisure activity, focused more on socialising and having a good time; the monthly classes require a greater commitment – you’ll be coming to class every week to learn how to develop artistic projects to a professional standard and to explore the techniques in greater depth.
No, there are no enrolment fees and we don’t have any minimum contract periods (so you can stop coming whenever you like, provided you give us advance notice)
Yes, generally speaking, there’s plenty of parking in the area without having to pay for blue zone parking or a car park. We’re located at Calle Cruz Verde 35, in Vélez-Málaga (Málaga).
